Sci-Fi Barbarianby *DKDevil

This is a sci-fi Barbarian that I worked on lately. Its made out of a variety of shapes that I've done with alchemy over the past couple days. It also has quite a bit of photoshop work in there such as various shapes and colors. I'd love input on this, I know its simple, but its still awesome.

Big thanks to whoever made the circular pattern brushes, I got them in a big brush pack that gave no credits so I have no idea who made them.

EDIT: Changed image slightly (Added a glow to the lights)
Also I now know where the arcane circles come from! They're from Obsidian Dawn, a digital arts resources site! you can get the brushset directly from them here [link]

EDIT 2: Made the watermark less intrusive.

EDIT 3: Made it EVEN LESS intrusive.

EDIT 4: According to ~Increality The circular brush on his chest and arms were made by David Levy of Steambot, it's featured in his Gnomon DVD.
I have since made my own similar custom brush that you can see on parts of Resonance!

I did design bosses for an indie game called Cross Fate in this style. Should be able to find it with a simple google search (its a mech fighter with anime style characters). And that project is still moving along very smoothly.

This walks the line between abstract and representation - it's like the *idea* of a robot, as opposed to the robot itself. Very, very cool.

That's the idea! The shapes are also vague enough for most people to have slightly different interpretations. Sometimes makes working with clients a bit of a chore, because they might see the head where I see the shoulder (more obvious on my other images in this style).
